Translation and localization by language pair and field

Record a translation or localization job: language pair, volume, subject field, certification and the deadline.

What it is for

A company entering a market, a law firm with foreign-language evidence or an applicant with documents for an immigration file needs text moved between two languages, in a subject field, sometimes certified, by a date. Rare language pairs, specialist fields and certified work are where buyers struggle on price and turnaround. This records the pair, volume, field and deadline so that which jobs go unmet, and what they are worth to the buyer, can be studied.

Marketing and product teams localizing software and content, law firms, people and their lawyers preparing immigration or academic documents, manufacturers translating manuals, and agents ordering translations.

What happens to a request

Your job is recorded as described. No translation is done, no documents are accepted and no translator or agency is contacted. If you leave a contact and a translator or agency working in that pair and field can be identified, a reply may come; it is not promised. Do not send the documents themselves. Contact details are stored apart from the requirement and deleted after 180 days.

What you get

A receipt with the request's identifier, the fields we could not match (a translator, a per-word rate or a finished translation is never supplied here), and a plain statement of what happens next.

Scope and limits

Any language pair; where the translation will be used is recorded as stated.
