Custom software and API integration work

What it is for

A business running several systems (an ERP, a storefront, a warehouse system, a CRM, an accounting package) often needs them to exchange data: orders flowing to fulfilment, invoices to accounting, stock levels back to the store. The work depends on the systems, their APIs and the volume, and small jobs are hard to staff. This records the systems, the flow, the volume, the deadline and the budget so that which integrations go unbuilt, and what they are worth to the buyer, can be studied.

Operations and IT managers at small and mid-sized businesses, founders without engineering staff, product teams needing a connector built, and agents scoping work for them.

What happens to a request

The job is recorded as described. No work is done or contracted, no developer or agency is contacted, and no credentials are accepted. If you leave a contact and a developer, or a ready-made connector for those systems, can be identified, a reply may come; it is not promised. Do not send API keys, passwords or customer data. Contact details are stored apart from the requirement and deleted after 180 days.

What you get

A receipt with the request's identifier, the fields we could not match (a developer, an estimate or a connector is never supplied here), and a plain statement of what happens next.

Scope and limits

Anywhere; where the work or its hosting must be is recorded as stated.

• No software is built and no work is contracted; this records the requirement.
• Credentials, keys and production data are not accepted.
• Whether an off-the-shelf connector already exists is not checked before the requirement is recorded.
