Industrial equipment and MRO parts by part number or model

What it is for

When a line is down or a machine is being replaced, a maintenance buyer needs one specific item (a drive, a pump, a controller module, a bearing, or a whole machine) identified by manufacturer and part number, often in a stated condition and against a deadline. Obsolete and long-lead parts are where plants struggle most. This records the identified item, condition, quantity and deadline so that what plants cannot find, and what they would pay to find it quickly, can be studied.

Maintenance and reliability engineers, MRO buyers at plants, contractors rebuilding equipment, and agents searching for discontinued parts.

What happens to a request

The part or machine is recorded as identified, with the condition and date you give. No inventory is held here; nothing is sold, reserved or shipped, and no seller is contacted. If you leave a contact and a seller of that exact item can be identified, a reply may come; it is not promised. Contact details are stored apart from the requirement and deleted after 180 days.

What you get

A receipt with the request's identifier, the fields we could not match (a seller, a price or an availability date is never supplied here), and a plain statement of what happens next.

Scope and limits

Anywhere; the delivery location is recorded as stated.

• No inventory is held and nothing is sold; this records the requirement.
• A part number is recorded as you give it; interchangeability with other parts is not checked.
• Condition (used, refurbished, new surplus) is recorded as your requirement and is not verified for any item.
