# Plan a bulk CO₂ supply

> Turn how much CO₂ you use into what suppliers quote on: cylinder, liquid cylinder, microbulk or bulk tank, how often each would be filled, the grade and documents, and a specification to send.

- `amount` (number), `unit` (lb, kg, t, ston, scf), `per` (day, week, month, year)
- `use` (beverage, food, greenhouse, water, industrial, other), `site`, `start` (YYYY-MM-DD)
- `cylinder_lb`, `dewar_lb`, `microbulk_lb`, `bulk_tons` (vessel sizes; defaults are typical sizes with sources)
- `max_swaps_week`, `max_deliveries_month` (the site's own limits)

Worked example (20 metric tonnes a month, beverage use): 44,092 lb a month; fills a month by mode: High-pressure cylinders 881.8, Liquid cylinders (dewars) 106.5, Microbulk tank 58.8, Bulk tank 1.6.

Nothing is bought, sold, held or shipped for you, no producer or distributor is contacted, and no price is quoted. If you leave a contact and a supplier of that grade can be identified, a reply may come; it is not promised. Contact details are stored apart from the requirement and deleted after 180 days.
