Company formation, registered agents and annual filings

What it is for

A founder, or a firm adding a subsidiary, needs a legal entity that exists on a state register, has a registered agent at an in-state address, holds a federal employer identification number and stays in good standing through annual reports and franchise taxes. This records what is needed (which state, which entity type, which filings, by when) so that demand for formation and compliance filing work, and the parts of it nobody serves well, can be studied.

Founders forming a first company, firms adding a subsidiary or registering to do business in another state, accountants and agents acting for them, and owners who missed an annual report.

What happens to a request

Your requirement is recorded as written. Nothing is filed with any state, no registered agent is appointed, no EIN is applied for and no one is contacted about your company. If you leave a contact and a filing service or registered agent that fits can be identified, a reply may come; it is not promised. Nothing on this page is legal or tax advice. Contact details are stored apart from the requirement and deleted after 180 days.

What you get

A receipt with the request's identifier, the fields we could not match (a filed certificate, an EIN or a compliance calendar is never produced here), and a plain statement that nothing will be filed and what may follow.
